Qualifications
The Human Resources Generalist is responsible for managing the day-to-day human resources activities including, but not limited to: grievance processes, employee investigations, management of Hourly Attendance Program, applying policies/rules and recommending corrective action, administering Labor contracts, providing Labor Relations training, as well as providing advice and counsel on policies, procedures and contract interpretation. The selected candidate will also maintain accurate HRIS systems using PeopleSoft, Word, Excel and PowerPoint. The candidate must be willing and able to work rotating shifts including nights, weekends and occasional holidays.

Basic Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree
  • Experience in Human Resources and/or Labor Relations
  • Strong oral and written communication skills
  • Highly proficient in Microsoft Office
  • Available to work variable shifts, including weekends

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Labor Relations or related field
  • Advanced degree
  • Experience working in a unionized environment
  • Experience working with collective bargaining agreements, conducting investigations and managing conflict
  • Knowledge of G-Suite applications
