INDUSTRIAL GRADUATES PROGRAM

FCA’s Industrial Graduates Program in China offers a 2-year “Road to Excellence” with a comprehensive onboarding program that gives you the chance to explore the all-around business, including visits to one of our dealers and plants. We strongly believe that commitment and contribution to this program throughout the whole organization will successfully establish our talents of the future.

FEATURES:

You will follow a structured development program with specific training sessions and technical rotation opportunities accompanied by a mentoring program tailored to your needs. You will strengthen your project leadership skills, as well as build extensive professional network and strong business foundation necessary for future success. Upon successful completion of the program, you will be offered a full-time engineering position.

REQUIREMENTS:

  • Bachelor or Master’s degree in Automotive, Mechanical or Electrical Engineering
  • No work experience required
  • Strong work ethic with the ability to excel in a fast-paced, international team environment
  • Proven ability to deal with ambiguity
  • Technical and quantitative communication skills

NEWLY PROMOTED MANAGER LEADERSHIP
DEVELOPMENT PROGRAM (NPLDP)

This 6-month learning journey is designed for FCA employees that move from an individual contributor role to that of a first-time people manager. This step comes with an increased level of responsibility and we support our employees in adapting and meeting expectations.

FEATURES:

You will receive personalized training which allows you to acquire managerial skills while developing your leadership competencies. Internal raining on FCA process and systems for Managers will equip you with all the relevant tools and knowledge. This will be followed by external training on leadership and communication for managerial success. Once this step is complete, you will then have a structured review with your HR Business Partner in order to arrange a meeting with your newly acquired team.

The second external training will cover delegation and workplace conflicts, which is followed by a structured review with your manager to clarify expectations and tasks. Furthermore, there will training on interview skills, a peer-coaching session and a 360° assessment to measure your behavioral changes. Every month, you will also be informed about relevant leadership topics to round out your learning opportunities.

MIDDLE MANAGERS LEADERSHIP
DEVELOPMENT PROGRAM (MMLDP)

Our Middle Managers are continuously challenged by a fast-paced environment. The Middle Managers Leadership Development Program provides participants with competencies by enhancing leadership skills through formal training.

FEATURES:

Every year, we design specific learning journeys for middle management based on our executive management’s strategic direction and the results of FCA’s Performance and Leadership Management (PLM). Using a blended approach to design the training, journeys can last from 1 to 6 months and apply to a target group of middle managers with common gaps. After this training, you will not only gain important leadership competencies, but also understand the behavioral changes needed to be a successful leader in FCA’s global matrix organization.

  • Ability to implement strategic goals and execute business targets with significant overachievements
  • Building trust and confidence among colleagues and thereby influencing a wide range of stakeholders
