TITLE: Advance Sequencing and Warehousing Specialist
 
DUTIES: Manage the CPCP program deliverables for a new vehicle, top hat or mid-cycle program for the tier 1 sequenced part delivery, modular and 3rd party extension of the plant suppliers. Compile upfront cost estimates, develop quote packages with detailed timelines, and lead the implementation meetings. Ensure plants are ready to support material logistics management operations prior to launch of new product. Finalize module and sequenced part delivery (SPD) strategies. Work in collaboration with engineering and purchasing departments reviewing Vizbom, current modules, and SPDs to establish an optimal and cost-effective supply and delivery plan, while providing minimal risk of Production disruption to FCA assembly plants. Design and provide the 3pl scope of work for quote request. Conduct and coordinate technical reviews among 3pl suppliers, material flow team, plants material logistics team, and purchasing to source the best supplier within approved budget. Address 3pl building requirements and specifications, selection, occupancy timing, and building element readiness to meet Vehicle launch timing. Validate process, execute, and launch all modular suppliers, tier 1 sequencing suppliers, and third-party providers to schedule to meet launch timing. Determine sequencing / kitting requirements based on complexity and direction from WPI room. Coordinate supply responses (MHE, IBT, OBT, and SPD) for bulletins and miscellaneous studies (engineering, volume, and traplines). Report CWI status for MHE and SPD costs (including risks/opportunities). Investigate supplier releasing issues during pilot and launch, such as wrong supplier Code, ship form code, no pos, etc. Support SPD implementation meetings, training, launching, PAB set up, supply issues resolution between module supplier and tier 2’s (releasing, CN mgt., etc.) with engineering, supply chain and third-party SPD suppliers post vp-a till launch. Investigate root cause of container return issues at launch. Supplier SPD capacity validation (tier-1 or third-party SPD PSO). Support PAB payment issue resolutions.
REQUIREMENTS: Bachelor’s Degree (or foreign academic equivalent) in Industrial Engineering or related field of study, and 6 years of experience in job offered or related occupation in an automotive manufacturing environment. Experience must include: Implementing WCM logistics methodology to launch new modular suppliers and third party logistics providers; working with material flow design and sourcing of facilities and equipment; preparing purchasing agreements and contract language between modular suppliers, third party logistics providers and assembly plants; performing process design for sequencing supplier launch implementation utilizing broadcast; utilizing sequence part delivery software applications including AOS/Syncreon and Insequence; utilizing inventory control systems including Kanban, control Storage stock status, and broadcast; and utilizing supply chain systems (common ship and delivery schedule).
